Indon maid jailed for inflicting cut on two-year-old boy

AN Indonesia maid, Suharti Sumito, was jailed for 18 months on Thursday after a district court ruled she had used a knife to inflict a 2cm cut on the penis of a boy in her care. 

At the time it happened, the two-year-old boy, the eldest of triplets, was at home with his siblings, their grandfather and the other maid who worked for the family, Marsiti Surparno.
