PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (AP) - Authorities have shut down Svay Pak, a notorious brothel community on the outskirts of Phnom Penh, a day before the start of a regional tourism conference, officials said Thursday.
"It is closed completely already,'' said Lee Lay, police chief for the municipal district in which Svay Pak is located.
