KAJANG: Former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has reportedly left Kajang Prison in a grey Proton X70.

The car was captured leaving the prison after his lawyer, Muhammad Farhan Shafee, arrived at Kajang Prison at 2.15pm on Friday (Nov 6).

It was reported earlier that Najib had settled the RM50 mil fine at the High Court Registry in Kuala Lumpur for the conditional pardon in the SRC International Sdn Bhd case.

On Sept 18, he received a conditional pardon from His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, allowing him to serve the remainder of his sentence under house arrest until Aug 23, 2028.

Najib, 73, was sentenced to 12 years in prison and fined RM210mil after he was found guilty on July 28, 2020, of seven charges involving the misappropriation of RM42 million belonging to SRC International.
