THE regional beauty industry is set for another dynamic gathering as the 21st edition of Cosmobeaute Malaysia and the 24th edition of beautyexpo return to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from Sept 29 to Oct 1.

The three-day event will bring together beauty professionals, buyers, brands and industry stakeholders for business, product discovery, knowledge exchange and networking.

Organised by Informa Markets Malaysia, the 2026 edition is expected to feature 400 exhibitors and attract more than 15,000 beauty professionals and buyers, reinforcing the exhibitions’ role as a key meeting point for the regional beauty industry.

This year’s edition will feature exhibitors from 15 countries and regions, including Malaysia, China, Cyprus, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates, offering visitors access to a broad range of beauty products, solutions, technologies and expertise from across the market.

The breadth of the exhibitions will be reflected across nine specialist categories, covering Professional Beauty, OEM/ODM, Halal Beauty, Hair and Barber, Makeup and Cosmetics, Nail, Embroidery and Lashes, Spa and Wellness, Training and Certification and Fragrances.

Making its debut this year, the fragrances category adds a new dimension to the product mix available to visiting professionals and buyers.

The focus on specialised beauty segments will also extend to the Halal Beauty Zone, which will showcase halal-certified beauty, skincare and personal care products.

The dedicated zone will provide participating brands with opportunities to engage buyers and connect with the growing Muslim-friendly beauty market.

This year’s programme will feature a diverse line-up of competitions and industry activities designed to showcase creativity, technical skills and emerging trends across the beauty sector, including:

• Asia Glory Hair and Beauty Awards 3.0 organised by M Star Agency and co-organised by the United Asian Hairdressers Association (UAHA).

• Hair Rebel: Men’s Creative Hair Colour Competition powered by JustColor and co-organised by Headgame Barbergear.

• The 6th Malaysia Glory Cup International Beauty Competition organised by Youshine and hosted by Informa Markets Malaysia.

• The 3rd Bloom and Groom: Skin Management Competition 2026 supported by our supporting partner Malaysia Esthetic Association, along with Quarz Global as Diamond Sponsor.

• CosmobeauteArtistry Competition, themed “Dare to Style 2.0: Trendy and Forward”, featuring hairstyling and makeup competitions co-organised by the Malaysian Hairdressing Association (MHA).

The programme will also include industry seminars and knowledge-sharing sessions, providing professionals with opportunities to exchange insights and keep pace with developments across the beauty sector.

Meanwhile, the Spa and Wellness segment will introduce new activities, including a full-day programme themed “Empowering Malaysian Spa and Wellness Professionals for Global Success”, powered by the Asia Pacific Spa and Wellness Coalition (APSWC) and co-organised by Cosmobeaute Malaysia and beautyexpo 2026 and Tanamera Tropical Spa Sdn Bhd.

The segment will also feature the Massage Championship, organised by the Malaysia Association of Wellness Trainer (MAWT).

“This year’s edition reflects the breadth and diversity of a beauty industry that continues to evolve.

“From the introduction of Fragrances and new Spa and Wellness activities to our competitions, knowledge-sharing sessions and specialised beauty segments, Cosmobeaute Malaysia and beautyexpo 2026 offer professionals and businesses more ways to discover what is shaping the market, build connections and explore new opportunities,” said Informa Markets Malaysia event director Kelie Lim.
