KUALA LUMPUR: A car was destroyed after catching fire following a road accident near Mid Valley on Saturday (Aug 22).
According to the Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department, a distress call regarding the incident was received at 12.37pm.
"Preliminary investigations at the scene indicate that a car collided with the rear of another vehicle before catching fire," the department said in a statement on Saturday.
Firefighters arrived promptly and fully extinguished the blaze by 1.21pm.
No casualties were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
