PETALING JAYA: The body of an Indonesian child believed to have drowned on Monday (Aug 10) has been found.
When contacted, Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations Ashrul Riezal Asbar said that the body was found at about 10.59am on Tuesday.
“The body was found approximately 3km away from where the victim fell. The body has been handed over to the police and sent to the Serdang Hospital.
“With that, the search operation has fully concluded,” he said.
The boy was reported missing after he fell into the river at about 6.30pm on Monday while playing with his friends near a supermarket in Persiaran Subang Indah.
