National leaders also fanned out across the state to shore up support ahead of polling day.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim returned to attend the Kuala Pilah Berselawat and Munajat Perdana programme at Dataran Melang, a day after campaigning in Chennah.
Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, his deputy Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan and Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin were also on the campaign trail.

Pakatan Harapan is contesting all 36 state seats, while Barisan and Perikatan are cooperating under a seat-sharing pact. Bersatu is contesting on its own.
Throughout the two-week campaign, voters consistently highlighted concerns over the cost of living, employment opportunities, road conditions, water supply and housing.
Negri Sembilan caretaker Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun, who is the Pakatan candidate for Linggi, said candidates would spend the final day reminding voters of their track records through face-to-face engagements.
“It is not just about pushing this through social media,” he added.
He said voters should choose a state administration that could work closely with the federal government to deliver development projects more effectively.

In Chuah, Barisan candidate Pau Jeou Ching said his team was targeting the remaining 15% of voters they had yet to meet while encouraging outstation family members to return home to cast their ballots.
“The response has been very warm and welcoming, especially since I am a local boy,” he said.
Pau said he and his team would also visit families to persuade outstation members to come home and vote.
Senior Barisan leaders, including Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong and Datuk Chong Sin Woon, are scheduled to be in Bukit Pelanduk, Chuah, on the final night of campaigning.
Barisan’s Linggi candidate Datuk Mohd Faizal Ramli said his machinery was revisiting supporters, reaching out to younger voters and making final preparations for polling day.
“Our target is to mobilise supporters to come out and vote early in the day,” he said.
Mohd Faizal is in a three-cornered contest in Linggi with Aminuddin and Bersatu’s Datuk Zamri Md Said.
In Pertang, Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias of Barisan said support had grown since nomination day, including among Chinese, Indian, Orang Asli and younger voters.
“I am confident that on Aug 1, the people will give the mandate to Barisan,” he said.
Perikatan’s Bagan Pinang candidate Abdul Fatah Zakaria said his campaign had entered a quieter phase after two weeks of intensive campaigning.
In Mambau, Perikatan candidate Erik Michael said residents had raised concerns over the cost of living, traffic congestion and the maintenance of facilities in housing estates.
“Residents are not asking for anything luxurious.
“They just want good roads, maintained drains, safe neighbourhoods and a representative who listens and solves problems,” he said.
He also appealed to Mambau residents working outside the state to return and vote.
“One day to come home may shape the next five years,” he added.
A total of 867,151 voters are eligible to cast their ballots tomorrow.
