HONG Kong actor Mat Yeung and Hong Kong-based Malaysian model-actress Lisa Ch’ng were recently spotted filming a romantic music video in Guangzhou, China.
Sin Chew Daily reported that the video will be screened during their wedding banquet at the JW Marriott Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on Aug 2.
Yeung was dressed in a tailored light-coloured suit, while Ch’ng wore an elegant blouse that accentuated her slender figure.
The couple shared affectionate glances and romantic moments throughout the shoot.
The production team also were moved by Yeung’s marriage proposal, with the actor getting down on one knee as he presented Ch’ng with a diamond ring.
She was seen beaming as she accepted the proposal, before the couple posed for a photoshoot.
They also showed their friendly side by happily posing for photographs with fans during filming breaks.
Yeung recently opened a Hong Kong-style roast meat restaurant in Malaysia, a move seen as preparing for married life and supporting his future family.
> Mandopop star Wang Leehom wore the staff T-shirt from his first solo concert in 1996 during a reunion with former colleagues from Taiwanese record label Linfair Records, China Press reported.
The nostalgic gesture surprised and touched Taiwanese singer-actress Mavis Fan, Hong Kong singer William So and other former colleagues.
The gathering also marked Wang’s first public appearance in Taiwan since his fall during a concert in Chengdu last month, which left him requiring 39 stitches to his left cheek and ear.
He has since recovered with no visible facial scars seen in the group photographs.
Wang had kept the commemorative staff T-shirt for nearly 30 years after it was issued for his debut solo concert in 1996.
So also flew in from Hong Kong for the two-day reunion before returning home the following day.
The group spent the evening reminiscing about the recording industry’s golden era.
