PETALING JAYA: The big day is coming, with Spain and Argentina facing off in the FIFA World Cup 2026 final match.
The two teams will meet on Monday (July 20) at 3am Malaysian time.
Both have come a long way since the tournament kicked off on June 11.
Spain topped their group after beating Saudi Arabia and Uruguay, and drawing with Cape Verde.
They then beat Austria, Portugal and Belgium to reach the semi-finals, before getting past France to book their spot in the final.
It marks Spain's first World Cup final appearance since they were crowned champions in 2010.
Argentina, meanwhile, topped their group after beating Algeria, Austria and Jordan.
They went on to beat Cape Verde, Egypt and Switzerland to reach the semi-finals, before getting past England to seal their place in the final.
Argentina are aiming to become the first team to win back-to-back World Cups since Brazil in 1962.
