MetMalaysia warns of thunderstorms in six states until 8pm (June 27)


PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has warned of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds in six states until 8pm on Saturday (June 27).

In a statement at 5pm on Saturday, MetMalaysia said the states affected are Perlis; Kedah (Langkawi); Perak (Kerian, Larut, Matang and Selama, Kuala Kangsar and Kinta); and Pahang (Cameron Highlands).

It also warned of bad weather in Sarawak, affecting Kuching (Kuching), Serian, Samarahan and Betong; and Sabah, affecting the Interior (Tambunan), West Coast (Ranau and Kota Belud) and Kudat (Kota Marudu).
