SINGER Elica Paujin has dismissed comparisons with fellow artiste Aisha Retno, saying there is no rivalry between them and that they continue to support each other’s careers, Kosmo! reported.
Elica, 26, said everyone has their own journey and there is no need for people to compare artistes.
“Everyone has different journeys and timing. Life is too short to keep comparing ourselves with others. We should celebrate every success and appreciate the blessings we receive.
“From my Big Stage days until today, I truly appreciate the love and support from people across the country. I will continue to make the most of every opportunity that comes my way,” she said.
Elica also urged the public to stay positive and focus on kindness rather than judgment.
Acknowledging that her name and Aisha’s have been mentioned together recently, Elica said their relationship remains good.
Aisha, who is known for the hit song Sutera, has enjoyed success in the local music industry in recent years.
