No meeting, no rally, all fake news, says Bersatu sec-gen Azmin

PETALING JAYA: Bersatu secretary-general Datuk Seri Azmin Ali has denied rumours of a Perikatan Nasional (PN) supreme council meeting at the Bersatu headquarters here on Friday (June 19) night, despite an earlier poster and invitation to the media regarding the matter.

"(The poster) is AI and it is fake. There is nothing happening at the Bersatu headquarters.

"There is no Perikatan supreme council meeting scheduled and Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin never made any such call," said Azmin when contacted.

Earlier Friday, Bersatu youth chief Hilman Idham urged Muhyiddin’s supporters to gather for a “Himpunan PN Bangkit” (Rise PN Rally) to be held at Bersatu headquarters at dusk on Friday.
