Anwar shares heartfelt message of gratitude after missing hiker Jaslinda found safe


IPOH: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim shared a simple yet heartfelt message on his social media accounts following the discovery of hiker Jaslinda Saludin.

“Alhamdulillah, syukur. Terima kasih sukarelawan dan pasukan penyelamat, serta warga Orang Asli Lubuk Gaharu kerana melindungi saudari Jaslinda (Thank you to the volunteers and rescue teams, as well as the Orang Asli people of Lubuk Gaharu for protecting sister Jaslinda),” he said in his message Saturday (June 6).

His brief statement reflected the nation’s relief and gratitude after Jaslinda was found safe.

Anwar expressed appreciation to the volunteers, rescue personnel, and the Orang Asli community of Lubuk Gaharu, whose care and protection played a crucial role in ensuring her well-being during the ordeal.

Jaslinda who has been missing for two weeks was discovered conscious in Kampung Lubuk Geharu, Pos Musoh, Tapah, by Orang Asli villager Nazri Eng at 3pm Saturday.
