A DOMESTIC dispute took a new turn with the husband filing a petition at a district administration in Gujarat, India, claiming that his wife and mother-in-law were plotting a murder, Makkal Osai reported.
Identified as Girith Patel, the man said he got married for the fourth time a few years ago.
However, the relationship and marriage eventually soured with the couple constantly fighting over suspicions of infidelity.
Girith claimed that his wife and mother-in-law wanted to kill his son from a previous marriage.
He said that the two women had often harassed him and made false accusations against him over the years.
He said he had filed police reports about the fights, harassment and murder plot but he claimed he was not taken seriously by the authorities because he was a man.
Girith had recorded in the petition that he would rather die than have to endure the constant harassment by the women.
