Tree falls on a moving car in Gombak

PETALING JAYA: Heavy rain and strong winds led to a tree falling onto a moving vehicle in Gombak on Friday (May 8).

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis said that the incident occurred within the Batu 10 area. 

“The tree fell and crushed a car, leading to the road being blocked.

"However, the victim successfully exited his vehicle before firefighters arrived at the scene.

“The tree has since been cleared and inspections were conducted to ensure no further hazards in the area,” he said.
