Love triangle ends with murder

A 28-YEAR-OLD tailor was found dead in his bed last week in a case initially described by his wife as a “sudden death”, Makkal Osai reported.

However, police in Dindigul, a city in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu, later discovered that the deceased, known as Ravikumar, had been smothered to death by his wife, Karthika, with the help of her lover.

During the course of the investigation, police discovered that Karthika had been having an affair with an electrician named Vignesh.

Ravikumar found out about the affair and had admonished his wife.

Karthika soon came up with a plan to get rid of her husband with her lover.

On the day of the murder, Karthika let Vignesh and his friend into the house after Ravikumar had gone to sleep.

The three of them then suffocated Ravikumar with a pillow.

Karthika later pretended that her husband had died of unknown causes.

All three culprits were arrested after the plot came to light from Karthika’s confession.
