Azam Baki probe: Investigation papers referred to AGC for further instructions, says Bukit Aman


PETALING JAYA: The investigation papers involving former Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki has been referred to the Attorney General’s Chambers for further instructions, says Bukit Aman.

Criminal Investigation Department director Comm Datuk M. Kumar, when contacted, said that investigation papers on the alleged threat against businessman Albert Tei and over a Bloomberg article regarding share ownership in Velocity Capital Partner Bhd were referred to the AG on June 4.

“It was handed over on June 4 for further instructions and advice,” he said.

On Wednesday, the former MACC chief gave his statement to the police in a two-hour session at Bukit Aman.
