SHAH ALAM: Singer Datuk Nashrudin Elias, 67, or better known as Nash, is stable following surgery after suffering a heart attack.

Music Malaysia deputy president and Malaysian Recording Industry Consortium (Irama) president Ayob Abdul Majid said this in a Facebook post on Monday (April 20).

He said that 80% of Nash's heart channels were blocked.

"I just received a call from Nash's son, Shameer Nasha, informing me of this.

"Let us all pray for his speedy recovery," he said, reported Sinar Harian.

Nash is the former vocalist of the groups Step Closer and Lefthanded and the singer of the song Pada Syurga di Wajahmu.
