Cattle farmer shot while trying to stop animal theft


TANAH MERAH: A cattle farmer has been injured after he was shot by a group of six cattle thieves at Felda Kemahang 1 here.

In the 3am on Monday (April 20), the 43-year-old victim was suffered injuries to his cheek.

It is understood he is in stable condition and is receiving treatment at Hospital Tanah Merah.

Tanah Merah OCPD Supt Mohd Haki Hasbullah confirmed a report was received over the incident and further investigations are still underway, Sinar Harian reported.
