Woman, five children go missing in Bentong


KUANTAN: A woman and her five children have been reported missing in Taman Orkid, Bentong, since Monday (March 29).

Bentong OCPD Supt Zaiham Mohd Kahar said the woman's 43-year-old husband lodged a report at 7.34pm that same day.

He said the woman, M. Rekha, 41, and her children, aged 4 to 19 years old, were last seen at their home in Taman Orkid.

"The man noticed his wife and children were missing from home around 6.30am on Monday and, unable to find them, filed a police report," he said in a statement Wednesday (April 1).

Supt Zaiham urged anyone with information about the missing individuals to come forward to the nearest police station or contact the Bentong district police headquarters control centre at 09-223 1999. - Bernama
