ACTRESS and singer Erra Fazira (pic) marked Aidilfitri in an unconventional way by celebrating underwater at Pulau Tenggol, Terengganu, Kosmo! reported.

In an Instagram post, Erra, whose real name is Fazira Wan Chek, 52, and her husband Ezwan Zain, 45, shared moments of them exchanging greetings and embracing underwater, capturing public attention.

Ezwan donned a full baju Melayu complete with sampin and songkok, while Erra wore a scuba-friendly outfit paired with a batik kebaya.

Before the dive, she was also seen adjusting her husband’s sampin.

Fans expressed excitement over the unique celebration, with many praising the couple’s creativity and affection.

“Such a fun and different way to celebrate Aidilfitri,” said one follower, while another described it as “rare but romantic”.

The couple were reportedly accompanied by a team from KasiOnz Channel, their podcast platform.

> Nearly four decades on, Senandung Hari Raya Untukmu by veteran singer Dayangku Intan continues to evoke the same emotions each Aidilfitri, Berita Harian reported.

The song, composed by the late Jay Jay (Mohd Fauzi Darus) with lyrics by S. Amin Shahab (Syed Mohd Amin Syed Hashim Al Shahab), was released under Warner Music Malaysia as part of the album Salam Aidilfitri Untuk Semua, featuring artistes such as Datuk Jamal Abdillah, Uji Rashid and Datuk M. Nasir.

Dayangku Intan said the song carries a special message for those separated from loved ones during Hari Raya, including soldiers and frontliners, with melancholic lyrics delivered in an uplifting tone.
