A MAN in India was shot dead as he would not stop sleeping with a married woman despite multiple warnings by her husband, Makkal Osai reported.

Ajay Kumar, 26, from Uttar Pradesh, had reportedly been having an illicit affair with the woman from the same village. Her husband found out and warned Ajay to stay away from his wife, but it had no effect.

A few days ago, as Ajay was returning home from his rice field, three men set upon him and started beating him up. He tried to run away, but the men pulled out their guns and shot him dead.

Police are now looking for the three men, including the husband.
