Loke extends Hari Raya greetings, wishes safe travels

PETALING JAYA: As many begin their journey home for Aidilfitri, Anthony Loke together with other DAP leaders are wishing Malaysians a safe journey along with Hari Raya greetings.

The Transport Minister advised the public to drive safely on the way home and commended Road Transport Department (JPJ) personnel who remain on duty during the festive season.

“While many are returning to their hometowns with their families, JPJ personnel sacrifice their time and energy to keep all road users safe so thank you to all JPJ personnel who are on duty.

“Road users are advised to drive carefully, responsibly, obey traffic rules and prioritise safety.

“Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir dan Batin,” the DAP secretary-general said in a Facebook post on Friday (March 20).

Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming also similarly wished Malaysians a safe journey home in his Raya greetings and to strengthen the values of unity, harmony, and compassion among our fellow Malaysians.

“May this Aidilfitri bring happiness, well-being, and blessings for all, and to those travelling back to their hometowns, drive carefully and prioritise safety.

“Together, let us continue to preserve the unity and harmony that form the foundation of our beloved Malaysia’s strength,” the DAP deputy chairman said in a post on the ministry’s Facebook page on Friday.
