HONG KONG singer Charlene Choi confirmed rumours that she is living with her new boyfriend, Sin Chew Daily reported.

Choi, 43, who is part of the Cantopop Duo twins, admitted in January that she is dating personal trainer Elvis Lam, who is 10 years her junior.

When asked, Choi replied in the affirmative.

“Dating is like that. Isn’t everyone the same? There is no fast or slow. I follow my own pace. If we are happy, we are together,” she said.

According to Choi, Lam had also accompanied her on a trip to Europe together with her friends and that they had a great time travelling in the countryside.

When asked if her boyfriend helped take care of everyone on the trip, Choi laughed and said: “He got things done.”

Choi was previously married to singer-actor Ronald Cheng between 2006 and 2010.

She later dated billionaire Anthony Shek in 2017 but broke up in 2023.

> The daily also reported that Hong Kong superstar Andy Lau was rumoured to have returned to the Snake Temple in Klang, Selangor, to pray for blessings this Chinese New Year.

Lau, who is married to Malaysian model Carol Chu, is said to be one of the temple’s biggest financial patrons.

A reporter at the daily who visited the Tian Hock Kung temple at Taman Teluk Pulai spotted a candle lamp with a card bearing the name Lau Tak Wah, Andy’s real name.

He also found another card hung on a kumquat tree with the name Lau Heung Wai, which is the name of Andy’s daughter.

When asked if the singer and his family had visited during the Chinese New Year period, temple representatives declined to comment.
