IN his preparation for his return to the Hong Kong Coliseum after more than a decade, singer Andy Hui (pic) trained hard to get in shape and managed to lose nearly 4kg in just a month, reported China Press.

The 59-year-old was recently spotted working out with his wife Sammi Cheng near Causeway Bay.

He was seen taking a paper bag from his wife and holding her arm as they walked.

A source close to the couple said Cheng would massage Hui’s shoulders and help him relax after dance rehearsals for his Oct 8-10 concert.

It was said that Cheng had taken on the role as Hui’s personal trainer and nutrition adviser to help him get into the best possible shape for the concert.

She reportedly monitored his diet and forced him to give up greasy food.

Her efforts appeared to have paid off as Hui lost nearly 4kg in a month and he appeared to have a more defined physique.

It was reported that in 2019, Hui was caught kissing a much younger actress Jacqueline Wong at the back of a taxi.

The scandal grabbed headlines across the Hong Kong press for several months, leading Hui to take a hiatus.

Cheng forgave her husband and told fans to respect her decision.
