KUANTAN: About 8,000 Pahang civil servants will receive RM1,000 each as a special financial assistance in conjunction with Aidilfitri.
State Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail said that the assistance to help civil servants prepare for the upcoming festive celebration.
"This special assistance will be credited into the recipients' accounts a week before Aidilfitri," he said in a statement on Wednesday (March 4).
He added that the state government hopes the payment will boost the morale of the state's civil service to continue delivering excellent service, while strengthening efforts to develop the state and enhance the well-being of the people. – Bernama
