Johor civil servants to get one-month Hari Raya bonus

JOHOR BARU: More than 18,000 staff in Johor’s civil service will receive a one-month Hari Raya Aidilfitri bonus, says Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi.

He said the special aid from the state government would benefit 18,455 permanent and contract civil servants.

This includes 11,271 state civil servants, 6,192 local government staff and 992 staff in state statutory bodies.

“The state government has agreed to the incentive and it will be disbursed starting Thursday (March 5),” he announced on his Facebook on Wednesday (March 4).

Onn Hafiz said the festive bonus is to motivate public sector employees to carry out their duties with dedication and integrity, thereby boosting the state’s development.
