Radzi, who is currently Putrajaya MP, served as senior minister (Education and Social cluster) and education minister from 2020 to 2022.

The statement said his main task will be to restructure the leadership of Bersatu divisions across Melaka in the near future, involving local leaders including youths and professionals.

It added that the new leadership team is expected to continue championing the people’s cause and strengthen the party’s position ahead of the Melaka state election, expected at the end of the year.

It was reported on Tuesday (Feb 24) that Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Thamby Chik said he was stepping down as Melaka Bersatu chief, and that five out of six divisions in the state had been dissolved with immediate effect.
