KOTA KINABALU: A trash collector had a shock when he found a severed arm at a dumpsite in Indah Permai near here.

OCPD Asst Comm Kasim Muda said several teams as well as a K9 unit were sent to the scene after receiving the call at about 8am.

“We later found other body parts belonging to a woman at several nearby locations. We believe they are of the same person,” he said in a statement.

ACP Kasim said the identity of the victim has yet to said the cause of death, motive, modus operandi and other related matters were being investigated.
