Sabah welcomes Japanese investors, particularly in Blue Economy sector, says Hajiji

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah welcomes Japanese investors to the state, particularly in the Blue Economy sector, says Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.

The Chief Minister said the Blue Economy offers many investment opportunities and the state government's investor-friendly policy also opens the door to many various economic sectors for investors to explore.

He said this when meeting with Japanese ambassador to Malaysia Shikata Noriyuki at Sri Gaya here, Friday (Feb 13).

Shikata is in Sabah for a three-day official visit to Sabah where he will be visiting Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) and also to promote Green×Expo 2027, to be held in Yokohama, Japan.

The ambassador was accompanied by the head of Japan's consular office in Kota Kinabalu, Yamashita Yoshito and Japanese envoys to Malaysia.
