The suspect, identified as SL, was said to have allegedly offered between 50,000 rupiah (RM12) and 100,000 rupiah (RM23) for an hour of companionship, along with food and snacks.

> Berita Harian reported that veteran actor Shamsul Ghau Ghau is showing progress after undergoing surgery to remove a blood clot at Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah in Serdang.

His wife, Sharifah Azrinah Syed Ibrahim said most medical equipment attached to him has been removed and he has begun physiotherapy with doctors noting good results from an MRI scan.

“His reactions are sometimes slower. He can sit up with assistance but is not yet strong enough to walk unaided,” Sharifah said while thanking family, friends and fans for their prayers and support during his recovery.
