THE parents of SJK(T) Durian Tunggal, Melaka pupils are calling for a solution to the recurring flooding of the school’s field, which they say is endangering and affecting the lives of their children, reported Harian Metro.

The school’s parent-teacher association said the flooding is often caused by overflow from a nearby river during periods of continuous heavy rain.

Its chairman V. Pusparaja said the floods frequently overflowed into the school compound, leaving parts of the grounds waterlogged and affecting facilities used by the school’s 198 pupils.
