Three-year-old boy allegedly abused at Seremban day-care centre


SEREMBAN: Police have received a report about a three-year-old boy who was allegedly abused at a day-care centre in Seremban 2 Heights here.

Seremban OCPD Asst Comm Azahar Abdul Rahim said the victim's mother lodged a report at 11.31pm on Saturday (Jan 24) after she received a photo of her son with a red mark on his left cheek.

"Initial investigations found that the incident happened in June 2025.

"Police have recorded statements from four witnesses, namely he caregivers and the manager of the centre.

"We are continuing the investigation and will take action against those involved in accordance with the law," he said in a statement here on Saturday.

He said the case is being investigated under Section 31(1)(a) of the Child Act 2001. – Bernama
