JOHOR BARU: The flood situation in Johor has fully recovered following the closure of the last temporary relief centre in the Segamat district at 2pm on Wednesday (Jan 7).

State Disaster Management Committee chairman Datuk Asman Shah Abd Rahman said the relief centre at the Kampung Batu Badak community hall, which had been operating since Dec 28, was officially closed after all evacuees were allowed to return to their homes.

As of this morning, the centre was housing 25 flood evacuees from eight families.
