Police confirm no foul play in Sentul PPR fire


KUALA LUMPUR: A fire that killed two in a People's Housing Project (PPR) in Sentul had no criminal elements, says police.

Sentul District Police Chief ACP Ahmad Sukarno Mohd Zahari said that a post-mortem on the bodies had been conducted as well.

"The cause of the fire was found not to involve any criminal elements," he said on Saturday (Dec 27).

On Dec 26, a fire at a flat in Jalan Dato Senu 26 led to the death of an 80-year-old woman and her 58-year-old son.
