King receives briefing on visits of Egyptian President, King of Jordan


KUALA LUMPUR: His Majesty, Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia has received a briefing regarding the state visits to Malaysia by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and King Abdullah II of Jordan.

According to a post on Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar Facebook page on Friday (Oct 9), the briefing was presented by Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan during an audience with His Majesty at Istana Bukit Tunku here.

Also present were the Foreign Ministry's secretary-general, Tan Sri Amran Mohamed Zin and senior officials from the ministry.

El-Sisi is undertaking a two-day state visit to Malaysia starting today at the invitation of Sultan Ibrahim, while King Abdullah II is scheduled to visit on Oct 11 and 12. – Bernama
