EAIC reports document forgery, non-compliance in Fisheries Department


PUTRAJAYA: The Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC) has revealed breaches of procedures and licensing policies within the Fisheries Department involving the approval of 54 fishing licences granted to two companies.

In a statement, the Commission said this followed investigations conducted on department officers in Johor, Kedah, Terengganu, Kelantan, Pahang, as well as its headquarters, under Section 28 of the EAIC Act 2009 (Act 700).
