Carlsberg Golf Classic celebrates its finale at world-class stage


Carlsberg Golf Classic concluded its 32nd edition with an exhilarating finale at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club.

KUALA LUMPUR: Carlsberg Golf Classic (CGC), the country’s most celebrated and longest-running amateur golf tournament series, concluded its 32nd edition with an exhilarating finale at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) West Course, offering participating golfers a world-class stage of the recently concluded LPGA Championship tournament.

With a prize pool worth more than RM2.7mil, Carlsberg Golf Classic 2025 delivered a tournament experience that rewards not just performance, but also sportsmanship, delivering better with every round that’s #BestWithCarlsberg.

This year’s edition brought together over 3,600 golfers across 32 qualifying rounds nationwide — spanning Johor, Kedah, Kuala Lumpur, Malacca, Negeri Sembilan, Penang, Putrajaya, Sabah, Sarawak and Selangor — and culminating in a national showdown of 64 gross and nett champions of respective golf clubs.

The grand finale saw competitive yet jolly moments from start to finish.

Lam Kong Foo emerged victorious as the Gross Champion, delivering a confident and consistent round to clinch the top title with a score of 73, while Kaashvini Sasi Kumar, aged 21, claimed the Nett Champion honours with a final score of 74, playing off a handicap of 6, reflecting steady form across the greens.
