IN a shocking act caught on camera, a woman used her foot to steal a stall operator’s wallet while her two accomplices distracted him, China Press reported.

Sharing CCTV footage of the incident on social media, the Kuala Lumpur Mobile Vendors Association warned vendors to be wary of their belongings.

The clip shows a man and two women, all wearing face masks, approaching a stall selling fish balls at the Taman Connaught night market.

The man starts a conversation with the vendor while one of the women inspects the items on display. Another woman then uses her foot to reach under the stall and pull out a wallet, which she quickly places in her handbag.

The trio then casually walk away.

> An incident involving a young boy who kicked his slipper into a hotpot at a restaurant in China has sparked widespread criticism over poor public behaviour and lack of parental supervision, the daily also reported.

CCTV footage from an eatery in Xiangyang, Hubei province, shows the boy hopping around while his parents wait for a seat.

Suddenly, he raises his right foot and kicks the air, sending his slipper flying straight into a hotpot, causing the broth to splash, startling the four guests seated at the table.

Fortunately, the guests had already finished eating and turned off the fire.
