On October 25, Anutin initially cancelled his trip to Kuala Lumpur due to the passing of Queen Mother Sirikit.

Anutin later said that he will be in Kuala Lumpur to sign the deal, and will return to Thailand on Oct 26, and arrived in Kuala Lumpur on the night of Oct 25 to attend the 47th Asean Summit.

Sirikit is the mother of Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn and passed away on Friday (Oct 24) at the age of 93.

Trump is expected to arrive in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday morning to witness the deal after helping broker an end to a five-day border conflict in July.

In July, over 40 people are killed when tensions between Thailand and Cambodia erupt into the deadliest military clashes in decades.
