TWO young children have tragically become orphans following the devastating loss of both their parents within the span of less than a week, reported Kosmo!

The two children, aged four and six, faced the grief-stricken loss of their mother, 34-year-old Wan Farahana, who died in a car crash on Oct 19.

She was travelling with her husband, Nur Ihsan Nordin, 33, to Kelantan for the long Deepavali weekend when their car reportedly skidded and collided with another vehicle on the road.

Wan Farahana, who was pregnant with the couple’s third child, was killed instantly, while Nur Ihsan sustained a hip injury and was hospitalised for a few days before being discharged.

Nur Ihsan, who was still mourning the loss of his wife, however passed away in his sleep on Friday.

The children’s aunt, Wan Samira Wan Husin, 37, said the children were struggling to cope with their loss.

“We often hear them talking to each other about their parents while sometimes looking around, maybe because they miss them too much,” Wan Samira said, adding that the two children are now under the care of their grandparents.

> Local singer Nubhan has denied claims that a third party was responsible for the breakdown of his marriage with Afifah Tawfek, calling the allegations baseless and hurtful, reported Kosmo!

Nubhan, whose full name is Ahmad Nubhan Ahamad, explained that the recent rumours of a woman being linked to him were false, stating that she was just a long-time acquaintance from his hometown.

He explained that the woman, who suffers from kidney disease, was allowed to stay temporarily at his house while receiving treatment at a nearby hospital.

This decision was made out of compassion, he said.
