School stabbing: Victim rejected his feelings, claims friend


PETALING JAYA: The boy who stabbed a girl to death at a Bandar Utama school is believed to have confessed his feelings to the victim and was rejected, reports Chinese media.

According to China Press, a friend of the victim said the boy confessed to the victim the night before the incident.

The friend, who wished to remain anonymous, said the victim was friendly, kind, active in sports such as basketball and considered to be athletically gifted.

The incident on Tuesday (Oct 14) took place at around 9.30am.

The suspect had reportedly brought a weapon to school.

The 14-year-old student had allegedly stabbed the 16-year-old victim outside the girls’ toilet at around 9.10am.

Two sharp weapons supposedly used in the attack were seized by police and the suspect has been taken into custody.
