School stabbing: Cops seize two sharp weapons


PETALING JAYA: Two sharp weapons, believed to have been used in the brutal stabbing of a 16-year-old female student at a school in Bandar Utama on Tuesday (Oct 14) morning, have been seized.

Petaling Jaya police OCPD Asst Comm Shamsudin Mamat said the incident occurred near the girls’ toilet at around 9.10am.

"Upon receiving a distress call, police personnel arrived at the scene at about 9.40am and confirmed that a murder had taken place," he told reporters at the scene.

"The victim, a 16-year-old female student, was found dead in the school toilet," he added.
