Body of unidentified man found in Klang River in USJ1

SUBANG JAYA: The body of an unidentified man has been found along the Klang River in USJ1.

Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Wan Azlan Mamat said a passer-by found the body on Thursday (Oct 9).

The complainant told police that a body was caught up in rubbish in the river, he added.

"The deceased was wearing a collared, short-sleeved black shirt with the word 'Security on it, and black pants," ACP Wan Azlan said in a statement on Friday (Oct 10).

"The body is around 160cm in height.

"The identity of the deceased has yet to be determined as no identification documents were found," he said, adding that decomposition had made it difficult to initially determine if the deceased had sustained any injuries.

ACP Wan Azlan said a post-mortem would be carried out, and the case has been classified as a Sudden Death Report for now.
