Telok Gong paper factory razed in early morning blaze


 Port Klang: A paper recycling warehouse at Kampung Telok Gong here went up in flames following an early morning fire.

Selangor Fire and Rescue department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said a distress call was received at about 6.47am on Friday (Oct 3).

"A total of 24 firemen were dispatched to the scene. The fire involved a large stack of recycled paper at the warehouse.

"We managed to control the fire by 7.42am," he said in a statement Friday.

No one was hurt during the incident, he added.
