Johor spent RM300mil to fix 140 flood hotspots, says exco


JOHOR BARU: Johor is intensifying flood mitigation works across the state with RM300mil already spent to upgrade 140 identified hotspots, says state housing and local government committee chairman Datuk Mohd Jafni Md Shukor.

He added about 70% of the hotspots had been resolved so far through measures such as upgrading monsoon drains, building new retention ponds and strengthening embankments.
