JOHOR Darul Ta’zim FC (JDT) fans can now see a Lego version of the football club’s home ground, Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, at Legoland Malaysia Resort in Iskandar Puteri.
The latest Miniland attraction was built using more than 400,000 Lego bricks.
It features detailed craftsmanship, dynamic lighting, animated crowd scenes and match-day sound effects designed to capture the atmosphere of a live game.
Miniland showcases stories, cultures and achievements from Malaysia and around the region, said Legoland Malaysia Resort vice-president CS Lim.
“The addition of Sultan Ibrahim Stadium is a significant milestone, showcasing a modern icon of Johor while resonating with both Malaysians and football fans from around the world,” he said in his speech during its unveiling.
The event was also attended by Destination Resorts and Hotels Group chief executive officer Darhim Dali Hashim and Johor unity, heritage and culture committee chairman P. Pannir Selvam.
Lim added that the attraction reflects the continued evolution of Miniland through immersive storytelling, interactive features and innovative Lego-building techniques.
JDT chief operating officer Alistair Edwards said the stadium represents more than just a football venue.
“It is a symbol of Johor’s ambition, unity and passion,” he said.
Edwards added that its inclusion in Miniland would introduce JDT’s story to a new generation of visitors while allowing families and football fans to experience the spirit of the club in a creative and memorable way.
“We are proud to be part of an attraction that celebrates Johor on an international stage,” he said.
The stadium is the latest addition to Miniland’s collection of iconic landmarks and cityscapes that are designed to appeal to Lego enthusiasts and tourists.
Its addition also highlights Johor’s sporting culture and the success of JDT, while bringing one of the state’s most recognisable modern landmarks into the Lego world.
