Selangor Ruler attends 'doa selamat' ceremony in conjunction with Raja Muda's wedding


SHAH ALAM: The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, attended a Yasin recital and doa selamat ceremony on Thursday (Sept 25) in conjunction with the upcoming wedding of the Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah, and Afzaa Fadini Abdul Aziz.

The Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin, was also present at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque here.

Led by Selangor Mufti Datuk Dr Anhar Opir and organised by the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS), the ceremony was held to pray for the smooth running of the royal wedding on Oct 2.

Sultan Sharafuddin also performed maghrib prayers at the mosque. - Bernama
