Illegal jetties along Kelantan-Thailand border to be demolished in October, say cops

KOTA BARU: The illegal jetties along the Kelantan-Thailand border, built on government land, will begin to be demolished in October as part of efforts to combat cross-border crime, says Comm Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mamat.

The Kelantan police chief said residents in the affected areas have been informed and are supportive of the action, following the announcement to close the illegal jetties in December last year.
