AN ACTRESS shared that she encountered sexual predators when she was a child, Kosmo! Online reported.
During a podcast session, Yasmin Hani Ismail Richardson, 46, remembered an incident when she was at the playground with her friends.
“I noticed a man in a car staring at us. I asked my friends to come along when he called me.
“At first, I kept my distance, but I felt like he was deliberately speaking softly,” said Yasmin, who is a mother of two children.
“When I got closer, I realised he was ‘sexually pleasing himself’. I screamed to expose him,” she added. According to her, she faced similar incidents during her school days, including being groped in a crowded bus.
Yasmin said this has made her cautious and she learnt to protect herself by screaming or striking the perverts with an umbrella.
She urged parents to stay alert to protect their children.
Yasmin’s experience drew strong reactions from social media users.
They acknowledged that there were many “sick” individuals targeting children.
